President-Elect Michael Selna awaits your recommendations for new committee members and/or chairs to replace those whose terms expire in December 2011. The Academy is seeking volunteers interested in helping the Academy by volunteering to serve on its committees. Committee appointments are for three-year terms. The winner of this category will also receive the Wes Eckenfelder Industrial Waste Management Medal.
The recipient of the 2011 Frederick George Pohland Medal is Dr. John T. Novak, Ph.D., P.E., BCEE. The Award was presented at the AEESP Awards Ceremony & Reception during the AEESP Education & Research Conference in Tampa, Florida on July 11.
