Application Deadline for Certification is Approaching

March 31, 2012, is the deadline for certification applicants to complete and submit their forms for specialty certification. Call your professional associates, and remind them not to miss the deadline. An online application is available by clicking here. Once completed, the system provides applicants with a download of additional forms to complete and return to AAEE. The Admissions Committee will review each application on April 25 and accept or reject them based on admissions guidelines. Generally, all examinations are conducted from late June through August in geographic locations that are convenient to the applicants in their respective locations. The Admissions Committee will review examination results and related documents in September and prepare its recommendations for certification to the Board of Trustees. The BOT shall act on these recommendations at its Annual Meeting in November.

The Membership Committee encourages each member to contact qualified colleagues to seek certification. The Executive Director is also asking you to make your best effort this year to identify and encourage qualified colleagues to apply. The Academy Staff are also encouraging you to help a colleague through the process: Lisa, Joyce, Yolanda, and Sammi!!
