2011 Best of Annapolis Award

For the second year in a row, the American Academy of Environmental Engineers was selected for the Best of Annapolis Award in the engineering association category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA). Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These local companies enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Share Your Commitment to AAEE Board Certification

It's time to encourage your colleagues and associates to apply to become an AAEE Board Certified Environmental Engineers (licensed PE) or Board Certified Environmental Engineering Member (non-PE). You probably applied because someone who is committed to excellence encouraged you to do so. Will you share the limelight and the commitment? Help a colleague(s) who deserves to be recognized for their dedication. For application details, visit AAEE and click on Membership, or contact Sammi Olmo at JSOlmo@aaee.net.

Have Your Responsibilities Increased?

Then it may be time to proclaim your expanded skill sets by adding a second or third specialty certification to your record of professional achievements. The number of BCEEs and BCEEMs who are certifying in additional specialties is growing with well over 50 to date. The highest demand in additional specialties is Environmental Sustainability followed by Hazardous Waste, then Solid Waste. Even better, an additional specialty adds only a nominal increase in annual recertification fees (application and examination fees apply). To apply for a second or third specialty, log in to the AAEE Center, go to Shop AAEE, and click on Application for Board Certification. Be sure to check the appropriate box designating an additional specialty. Even better, we already have your data, you only need fill out the basic information and add your experience in the additional specialty area!
