The Cleary Award is given to an individual who is an outstanding performer in the management of envirnmental protection enterprises conducted under either public of private auspices who have demonstrated exemplary professional conduct, personal leadership, originality in devising new environmental protection techniques and sensitivity and responsiveness to social, economic, and political factors in environmental protection.

She is Executive Director of the Stamford Water Pollution Control Authority and is responsible for operation and maintenance and all capital projects associated with the wastewater treatment and collection system. She is also responsible for stormwater management and is project manager for two river restoration projects. In addition, she is project manager for an innovative waste to energy research project funded in part by the Department of Energy. She is also an adjunct professor of Environmental Engineering at Manhattan College where she teaches wastewater treatment plant design. Past Winners |
