2011 Annual Meeting

The 2011 Annual Meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held in Austin, Texas, November 12 at the Intercontinental Hotel. The meeting begins at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, November 12, with the President's Reception followed by the Installation Dinner.

2012 Election

The unofficial winners in the election of 2012 Officers and Trustees include:

Confirmation of their election will take place at the 2011 Annual Meeting. They will be installed November 12, 2011, along with the new Board of Trustees. Their official terms start January 1, 2012.

Those who complete their service to the Board of Trustees, effective December 31st, are Cecil Lue-Hing, Past President, Otis J. Sproul, Trustee-at-Large, Sandra L. Tripp, Trustee-at-Large, and Edward Butts, representing APHA.

2012 Committee Appointments

Reminder to Committee Chairs - President-Elect Michael Selna is anxious to receive your recommendations for new committee members and/or chairs to replace those whose terms expire in December 2011. The Academy is seeking volunteers who are interested in helping the Academy through its network of committees. Committee appointments are for three-year terms. Please email your recommendations and letters of interest to the attention of President-Elect Selna either via email, at JSOlmo@aaee.net or via postal mail to Academy Headquarters * 130 Holiday Court * Suite 100 * Annapolis, MD 21401, at your earliest convenience. Committee chairs are requested to advise Sammi Olmo by letter or email on or before September 1, 2011, of any items they intend for the Board to address including Committee Policies & Procedures, when it meets November 12. All such documents are needed by September 1 so they may be reviewed by the Executive Committee.
