2011 Application Deadline Approaching
March 31, 2011 is the deadline for prospective and existing members to complete and submit applications for specialty certification for this year. All applications postmarked on or before March 31, 2011 will be included. The Admissions Committee will review and recommend these applications for examination on May 2. Generally, all examinations are conducted from late June to August in geographic locations based on those applying. The Admissions Committee will review examination results and related documents in September and provide recommendations for certification to the Board of Trustees. The BOT shall act on these recommendations at its Annual Meeting in November. Remind your professional associates who are applying not to miss this deadline.
The Membership Committee recommends that each member encourage FIVE qualified colleagues to seek certification. The Executive Director is also asking you to make your best effort this year to identify and encourage qualified colleagues to apply.
There Is Still Time To Sponsor A Listing In The 2011 Environmental Engineering Selection & Career Guide
For consulting firms, public agencies, and utilities, the Selection & Career Guide is a cost-effective opportunity to stay in front of customers year round and simultaneously support the Academy. AAEE distributes thousands of Selection Guides free at Sponsoring Organization conferences and AAEE activities. Last year, about 3,600 individuals downloaded the Selection Guide. The online version links your firm's website to your listing, allowing easy access to your firm.
