President Cecil Lue-Hing Inducted into NACWA'S Hall of Fame

To mark its 40th anniversary, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), formerly the Association of Metropolitan Sewerage Agencies (AMSA), has established a NACWA Hall of Fame. Inductees to the NACWA Hall of Fame have, through their actions and commitment to the organization, made a significant positive impact on either the evolution of the Association or its ability to effectively represent the interest of the clean water community.

President Kevin Shafer of NACWA to Dr. Lue-Hing - "I am pleased to inform you that you are among the individuals elected to the inaugural class of the NACWA Hall of Fame. Through your leadership and contributions, the Association has grown in service to its members - and moved closer to realizing its core purpose of being the leading advocate for responsible national policies that advance clean water".

Inductees to the NACWA Hall of Fame will be recognized this summer at a ceremony on Wednesday evening, July 21, 2010, at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco as part of the Association's 2010 Summer Conference & 40th Anniversary Annual Meeting. Dr. Lue-Hing is a Past President of NACWA, represented Region V (Chicago) on the Board of Directors when it was AMSA, and Chaired its Biosolids Management Committee for a number of years.
