Excellence in Environmental EngineeringThe Excellence in Environmental Engineering competition singles out those projects or programs which testify to the genius of mankind for recognition. Its criteria define what it takes to be THE BEST: a holistic environmental perspective; innovation; performance and client satisfaction; and contribution to an improved quality of life and economic efficiency.Superior Achievement for Excellence in Environmental Engineering is the ultimate accolade; it is awarded to the best of all entries. Awards can be garnered in any of six categories --- Research, University Research, Planning, Design, Operations/Management, and Small Projects --- and are determined by an independent judging panel of nationally-recognized experts. Grand Prizes are awarded to the best entry in each category and the Honor Awards are provided to other projects meriting recognition consistent with the competition rules.
